Nanoleaf Trivia Stream

PROJECT DETAILS

Nanoleaf connect to their fans in various ways, one of which being livestreams. For one of these streams, I guest starred alongside Twitch streamer’s emijuju and YandeRose to compete in a trivia match. I captured the broadcast in its entirety. From there, I proceeded to edit the original footage in order to include the live comments, also known simply as “chat”, to the segments where the original video did not have it visible.

While listening to the song “I Love The Stars” by “The Orion Experience”, I felt inspired to create some artwork for it. Since the band uses a lollipop as part of their brand, I decided to capture the song’s spacey theme with a lollipop planet. The background consists of several stars, and some of the lyrics from the song.

If you want to hear some excellent music from the best of the indie-pop music genre, listen to anything by the band “The Orion Experience”. Predating the release of their song “Cosmicandy Girl”, they teased a portion of its lyrics. Inspired by the lyrics alone, I developed some fan artwork to showcase both those lyrics, and their song.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The song “Sweet Friend” by the band “The Orion Experience” was released as part of an album. One day I wondered “How would its album art look had it been released as a single?” I set out to find an answer by creating my own. I combined several my original ideas along with some signature motifs from the band’s other releases to arrive at the end result. The final outcome manages to include several references to the band, its fanbase, and lyrical references, all while driving home the song title and theme.
